KPI believes in the power of partnership in bringing about lasting change. We partner with individuals and/or organizations in order to facilitate the helping out process. We believe that there are people out there who are ready and willing to help others and just needed to be guided on how to do it. KPI provides this means.

Our operational model is simple. It is called Sponsor-Scholar Matching. Sponsors can be individuals, group of individuals, or organizations (private or public). Scholars for matching are carefully selected and screened out following the established requirements and standards of the KPI Scholarship Program. Thus, potential sponsors are always assured that the scholar(s) they are getting are those who really deserved to be helped and exhibit strong potential to be successful and help others in the future.

Pooling of other donations from various donors (i.e., individuals or organizations) is also done until the required budget allocated for a scholar is reached. We do this process over and over again until all available resources are allocated.

In addition, KP scholars also attend additional training or other developmental educational support systems, events, or activities in order to enhance their KP experience. Sample activities include campaigns against drug addiction and lawlessness, environmental awareness programs, values orientation, computer-literacy training, leadership seminars, entrepreneurship courses, and other programs suggested by KPI's local representatives. To carry out this task, we partner with individuals and organizations (government and other non-government) that recognize expertise in these areas.

As in other non-profit organizations, KPI works through unpaid volunteers who happen to share the same desire to help other people without expecting anything in return. They dedicate their time, effort, money, and other resources to carry out this noble cause. Simply put, KPI volunteers and advocates share in the same dream of bringing hope to the Filipino youth.
